Youth Choir
The Ss. Constantine & Helen Youth Choir sings under the direction of Stelio Scordilis.
Due to the COVID 19 quarantine, we have been meeting online via Zoom to continue practicing and learning new songs. We plan a possible Christmas concert, and prepare for a possible 2021 FDF Choir competition. It is a challenge to keep our youth engaged now that there is no Sunday school, folk dancing, or other church activities.
Our youth choir has been earning continuously top prizes in the FDF yearly choir competition, ranging from First Place to Sweepstakes, and has been established as the top contender in youth choirs in the Western United States.
We have sung in the past for our Metropolitan Gerasimos and Archbishops Dimitrios and Elpidoforos. We have produced Christmas concerts in our church. We have sung at previous Greek Festivals. We have entertained at the Metropolis' Philoptochos Society/Archons' fundraisers, and have occasionally participated in the Divine Liturgy at our cathedral.
