There are many in Hawaii who know nothing of Orthodox Christianity. We aim to change that! Our mission is to serve Orthodox Christians while reaching out to the people of Hawaii of all faith backgrounds.
We aim to be more than a bookstore. We are a place where people can relax, look around, make friends, and pray. We want to be a place where people can experience the mystery of Christ, learn about Him, and meet friendly Orthodox Christians.
Whether it's a book on the Orthodox Faith, Spirituality, an Icon, music CD or a gift for yourself or someone else, you're sure to find it in the bookstore - or we'll be glad to order it for you!
We are open Sundays, following Services between 12 and 1pm and weekdays 9:00am - 1:00pm, when the Church Office is open. Please call the office (808)521-7220 before coming down - someone will be glad to open the bookstore for you.
Bookstore manager, Eres Eddy supports our spiritual growth by maintaining the Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Pacific Sacred Treasures Bookstore. Parishioners and visitors are drawn to this homey space that is filled with stunning icons, beautiful religious gifts and thought provoking books.
There is a vast inventory at the bookstore and special items may also be ordered. Please stop in after the Divine Liturgy to see Eres & John Eddy.
If you are not an Orthodox Christian but would like more information about the Orthodox Church please stop by and visit us. There are a number of free pamphlets and other materials available at the bookstore and we are more than happy to answer your questions.
In an adjacent room there is a large lending library of books, periodicals, audio and VHS tapes. You may either read the items at the bookstore or take them out on loan. Please see Eres or John Eddy for more information.
You may also order special items through our online link to the Archdioceses bookstore. A percentage of profits from these sales will benefit our parish. Simply follow the link listed below.
If you want to find a special item that is not found at the online website, please see Eres Eddy. Eres works with various vendors to order special items.
